Prescription Refills
We now use e-prescribing for greater patient safety. Please call your pharmacy to initiate the refilll request.
Notes:
1. For medical-legal reasons, prescriptions can only be refilled if the problem for which the prescription is taken is revaluated from time to time. Also, in today’s complex pharmacy management environment, patients are often must change their pharmacy and/or change from brand name to generic prescriptions. Both these services may be
provided through a web visit (Dr. Schwartz's patients only).
2. There is a $5 fee for prescription changes (examples: pharmacy changes and change to half tab program;
health plan changes preferred brand).

Hospitals
1. We take care of newborns at Women and Infants Hospital.
2. We take care of newborns, children, and adults at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island (Pawtucket Memorial).
